Treo, effervescent tablet 500 mg/50 mg 20 pcs
500 mg of acetylsalicylic acid and 50 mg of caffeine are contained in the Treo effervescent tablet. Frequent headaches, toothaches, menstrual pain, fever, and migraines can all be alleviated with Treo. Treo contains the combination of acetylsalicylic acid and caffeine. Treo has an antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic effect. By preventing the formation of special substances known as prostaglandins, acetylsalicylic acid alleviates pain. Acetylsalicylic acid boosts body heat release, resulting in the antipyretic effect. Caffeine enhances the analgesic effect of acetylsalicylic acid. Caffeine also has an analgesic effect through its constricting effect on dilated blood vessels in the brain, e.g. in migraines. Caffeine also has an invigorating effect.
Treo is a water-based clear solution that is gentler on the stomach than standard solid aspirin tablets. Treo starts working within 30 minutes. The effect is greatest after 1-2 hours.
DOSAGE AND USES
Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age: 1-2 tablets 1-3 times a day or as prescribed by a doctor, maximum 6 tablets per day. Taking more than two effervescent tablets at once does not improve pain relief. In the event that your pain, fever, and migraine symptoms do not improve within five days, see a doctor. Use in children: Treo should not be given to children under 14 years of age. Warning: Due to the risk of developing Reye’s syndrome, a rare but serious medical condition, do not give this to anyone under the age of 18 who has a fever without first consulting a doctor. Dissolve the effervescent tablet in 12 glasses of water. Do not use Treo if you have had hypersensitivity reactions such as asthma, breathing difficulties, hay fever or hives when using acetylsalicylic acid or certain other anti-inflammatory medicines. Additionally, people with stomach ulcers, hemophilia, thrombocytopenia, cirrhosis, severe heart failure, or severe kidney disease should not take Treo. Pregnant women should not use Treo during the last three months of pregnancy. Treo should not be taken by pregnant or planning to become pregnant women.
